MergePolesInInterval
Gnew = ResponseFunction.MergePolesInInterval(Gold, Emin, Emax) converts $G_{old}$ into a list of poles format and merges all poles in the interval $[ E_{min}$ , $E_{max} ]$ (boundaries included) into a single pole, thereby conserving the zeroth and first moment.
